Only mostly dead

So. I'm not, as has been rumored, dead.

What I am is buried in grading. Buried, smothered, consumed by grading. In addition to the usual byproducts of my own teaching, I'm also scoring essays for College Board.

Good news: I get paid for it, and I think the experience will help me give better advice to my kids.

Not as good news: It's very time consuming and very tiring.

Speaking of--off to bed.
